This is the primary job of the pastor-teacher; to feed God’s people by rightly handling of the word. Expositional preaching being the best way of teaching God’s word in a sequential manner, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse relying solely on God’s set menu in the external word to reprove, rebuke and exhort with complete patience and teaching without missing to show the people how the scripture is applied (1 Peter 5:2, 2Timothy 4:2)
